A meta search engine is a search tool that sends user queries to several search engines at once and aggregates the results into a single list. Why not just use Google? Don't all search engines have the same results? Well, many times Google's algorithm may rank a website lower than the other search engines making it harder to find that website. A meta search engine may help you find better results as the best of all search engines will rank in the top results of a meta search result. Search Engines very in the use of Boolean search operators, so it is best to enter simple search queries. Caution: Meta search engines also interweave a lot of "sponsored results", also known as paid ads, among the results. Watch that you are looking at actual "web results" and not "paid results".
