Henry Dale Biography
Henry Dale died in Harris township, March 14, 1844, aged eighty-six.
He was born in Northampton County in 1758.
He was a soldier with Washington at Trenton and Princeton in 1776-77, and served on militia tours under Capt. Forster, of Buffalo valley. His rifle, powder-born, etc., are still in the possession of his son, Capt. Christian Dale.
In the year 1800 he erected the large stone house, used for a tavern many years, between Lemont and Oak Hall.
